Central Bakersfield Bank of America held up, suspect fled on foot

BAKERSFIELD - Police say the Bank of America on Ming Avenue near Valley Plaza Mall was held up Wednesday afternoon.
The robbery occurred just before 1 p.m. A man entered the bank, presented a note to the teller and fled on foot westbound down Ming Avenue with cash.
The suspect is described as a white man, 6-feet to 6-feet-8-inches tall.
No one was injured during the robbery.
